Welcome to The Circle UAE (thecircleuae.com, “the Site”), operated by MIA V & CO LLC, 13727 SW 152nd St, Miami, FL 33177, USA (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Site you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Site is

The Circle UAE is an online community about life, business and technology in the United Arab Emirates. Content posted by members or published on the blog is general information, not legal, tax, financial, immigration or real-estate advice. Always verify with official UAE sources (u.ae, mohre.gov.ae, tax.gov.ae, dubailand.gov.ae) or a licensed professional.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. One person, one account.

3. Community rules

By posting on the Site you agree to:

  • No defamation. Do not post accusations, insults or negative claims about identifiable persons or companies. Defamation is a criminal offence in the UAE (Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combating Rumours and Cybercrimes). This is strictly enforced on this Site.
  • Respect religion, culture and institutions. No content that is disrespectful toward religions, the UAE, its rulers or institutions.
  • No unlawful content, including content that violates UAE law on alcohol, gambling, adult content or public morals.
  • Real-estate listings: real estate agents must include a valid RERA/DLD advertising permit number (Trakheesi) in every listing. Listings without it will be removed.
  • No spam, no mass self-promotion, no scraping of the Site.
  • No impersonation and no sharing of other people’s personal data without consent.

We may edit, remove or restrict content and suspend or terminate accounts, at our discretion, to enforce these rules or applicable law. Automated systems assist our moderation; final responsibility remains with our staff.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your content on the Site (including in search-engine results and Site features such as digests). Public posts remain visible even if you leave, in anonymised form, to preserve conversations.

5. Our content

The Site design, brand and blog articles are our property or used under licence. You may share links and short excerpts with attribution; do not republish full articles without permission.

6. Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee accuracy of member content, uninterrupted availability, or outcomes from acting on information found here. Job posts and property listings are published by members; we do not verify them and are not a party to any resulting transaction.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MIA V & CO LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability is limited to USD 100.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including UAE law when accessing the Site from the UAE.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the Site. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
